I think your wage is high, because you are in EB2 category.
In other words, the job for which your labor was applied required a higher education or experience. Your employer has to come up with such strong requirements to put you in the EB2 category. But what it does is, it will bump up your prevailing wage.
I had a similar situation where my boss gave a big list of requirements, which smacked my prevailing wage to a higher number. My attorney tried to talk into my employer, that GC is for a future job and they don�t have to worry about it now. But my employer said, they can�t promise to pay that salary, even if it is going to be after several years. Although, in my case the difference between the GC wage and my current salary wasn�t very high.
So, my attorney and my boss went back and forth several times before they came up with a job requirement that works for me and my employer.
In your case, at least your employer agreed to pay the salary or they have no concerns. So, you don�t have to worry about it now, because GC is for a future job.
BTW, do not jeopardize your job by asking for such a huge raise in this tough economic times. If you are still so worried, try to find a job that pays your GC salary and use AC21 to change your job.
I would say, just hang in there, because the job market is really tight.

I found today, from the flcdatacenter website, my labor petition number and was shocked to see the wage mentioned in there is "50.34", "Hr". I assume thats the pay I would get if I get the GC. My current pay is 60K/year. I have approved I-140 and have also applied my I-485 in the July 2007 fiasco.
I am now heart broken since I am not sure if I would ever get the GC cause the wage mentioned in LC and what I am getting right now has huge difference.
What can I do at this point of time? Any suggestion would be helpful to me.

Its been 30 days since my AP was mailed to me as per USCIS notification and I have not yet received it, but on other hand we receiver my wifes AP with in 3 days of approval.
Can you guys suggest if I have to wait little longer or assume its lost in mail and apply for new one.
Did any one on this forum experience more than 30 days to receive there AP since document mailed notification from USCIS.
I would appreciate your suggestions/comment.

Out of curiosity, I called the congresswoman's office to ask if she would be re-sponsoring the visa recapture bill. The person on the phone asked me to call back next week, because at present she was considering about it.
Can we all try to call her office and request her to re sponsor this bill, as this will help the housing crisis.

I am in the same situation. I have read through the 485 Adjudicator's Manual and would infer that if you are working for the petitioning employer, the employment letter may be RFE. I am still searching for more information on this issue and will post if I find anything.

This is a unique situation and may be an immigration attorney will guide you better. You should try to follow the law where ever possible. It could have been much easier had you gone out when your visa expired and returned back on another visa. Anyway try to speak with an attorney and get a good advise on how to remedy this situation

I applied for my AP in august 2007 my case was approved but i didnot get the document . When i called USCIS they told me to reapply for AP .
Now i got the AP document but the date issued is october 12 2008 to october 2009 .
But I want to travel outside in August . Can i use this AP , is the document valid , if i go i cant enter before october 12 2008 .
This is trouble.
They might have issued AP to you, lost somewhere in mail. Now they renewed starting expiry of first one.
On this AP - a big NO.
I hope someone familiar with this type of situation - is it possible to request USCIS by taking infopass?

Reason - if member opted for "Bill Pay" (to make payments recurring )Bank deducts the money from the account as soon as the Paper check [from the bank] gets sent . This is done to ensure that the Bank has the cash to pay the check it mailed to payee (IV). If check never gets encashed that money is lost and wasted!
I don't know if this is feasible or not, but if IV can provide a bank Account Number and Routing, "Bill Pay" can be set such that Bank will send the amount Electonically to IV account (as E-check). E-checks get cashed in 2 days compared to Paper checks (sent by the bank) which takes 5 days [per my bank]. It's just a suggestion as I have no ideas on the issues and the logistics involved.
This is only temporary. We will accept the checks after some time and will update the page.

Let us form a group who are pushing to introduce Ammendment for Filling I485, AP &EAD when I140 approved/pending, eventhough Cut-off dates are not reached for EB category immigration. Please discuss here weather any work being done to introduce this ammendment with present Comprehencive Bill.

A very close friend of mine has filed EB3-I 485 with Sep 2003 PD. The job, at present, requires EB2 level qualifications, however, the employer is not too keen on sponsoring a change to EB2.
So, what options do we have ?
a) when is EB3-I Sep 2003 PD likely to be come current? 12m? 18m from now?
- As usual no one knows
b) can AC21 approach be used to port this to a EB2 category ?
- Can you be more elaborate on this
c) can his spouse separately file for EB2-I PERM, I140 and file for 485?
(I am assuming that EB2-I will be current approximately around this time next year).
- If he/she is working and qualifies for EB2-I, certainly one can apply during the I-485 stage i guess one can go for a cross charge-ability (not sure of the word) but yes i have seen posts where one can use the spouse's 485 priority dates.

A bit better but still a little grey. I don't think you can get detail on the chest area for instance and keep the blacks looking black on the rest of the bird.
I do use autofocus, at least with the 1D2 it works fine. The 20D is a bit iffy, it should work but it hunts sometimes.
Here is another version, with FM shadow recovery set to 2 - and I used a mask to limit it only to the darkest areas.
By the way - when I opened the attachment it looked washed out to me too, because it opens in windows rather than in Adobe PSCS2. They use different colourspaces. - try opening the attachment in an adobe colourspace and see if it makes a difference.

AFAIK, there is no tatkal or emergency type of service for PIO card - atleast not at Washington DC which is our jurisdiction.
My company surprised all it's employees with a 2 week of paid X-Mas holidays. Hence the need for PIO card asap. Hence the reasoning for going and applying in person. So, do i absolutely need to take the kid? I don't see any reason why i should. But better to check with ppl that have first hand experience in submitting the application in person at the Embassy counter.

Thank for the reply. I hope the suggestions will be acted on and implemented at the earliest. It's frustrating to see that the priority dates haven't moved by a single day in last 6 months, something really needs to be done and I will do my support IV with anything.
Thanks for your commitment...if you are frustrated by no movement in 6 months then imagine the plight of folks on this forum who have no priority date movement since Jan 2002 (9 years and counting)....most of them have literally became dormant with the long wait and some of them have become cynical and skeptical of the entire process and quite frankly about IV...it's hard to motivate and make them commit to supporting IV. There are few brave souls who refuse to give up and are fighting for the greater benefit of the entire community!
