My I-140 was filed via regular processing then later shifted to premium processing in Aug 2006, approved in Oct 2006 Nebraska Center and was received at the NVC in December 2006 and given an NVC Case number.
I know someone who has a priority date of june 2006 and I-140 approved last january 2007. The document is not yet received by the NVC.
Which one will the NVC process first? My papers that was received by the NVC first. Or will it still follow the priority date?
Thank you. Hoping and praying that this retrogression be lifted the soonest time possible.

This may be a RFE... keep in touch with your law office.
I am not sure if someone is in same situation.For my I140 it says the following
Current Status: Document mailed to applicant.
On April 1, 2009 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.
I am not sure what does this mean. If some one can throw some light.

You can apply only after getting receipt number. I am also not filling EAD/AP right now because attorney is asking for $800/person to file EAD/AP. I'll file once I get receipt number.

You shouldn't have any problem travelling during Labor Cert stage. LC has no bearing on your status as long as you have a valid VISA which you seem to have according to your post. Enjoy the trip!

My employer will be filing for my greencard (labour certification) within the next 2-3 months. I have a valid H1 B visa expiring next year. I was wondering if it is legal to travel outside the country at this stage ?

My I140 is approved and my I485/EAD/AP was applied last month and nothing is approved yet.
The company finances are not looking good , if I lose the job then what would happen to my GC application. I am hoping to get EAD before company pulls the wire on me though.
What would be my best options. Please reply ASAP

1) Many of us have already used AC21, The current economic condition might force us to switch job on EAD, Can we file AC21 multiple times. Has any one done this.
2) If I do not file AC21, with new job and can we leave with the 1st employer as for future employment, Join the original employer we filed AC21 upon approval of GC, In than condition, an offer letter from the employer hold good in case of RFE.

I efiled on April 7th and got FP notice on April 15th or so with appointment date of April 30th. Hope this helps.

Like sq footage, cabins.. etc. Do you have any link that talks about office space wrt immigration requirements,

Here are my case details
EB3 - 485 filed in Sept 2007 for me and spouse
My spouse now has a approved I140 in EB2.
Can we "interfile" and use my I485 app and interchange the dependents. I understand that we will have to use the 2010 priority date.
Or should we file new I485s that make the spouse primary and me dependent.
If "interfiling" is possible, how long does it generally take?

Bob is right. Don't buy anything from any camera shop in Brooklyn. Those package deals are not deals at all. They are a huge scam designed to steal your hard earned $ and leave you so frustrated at their total lack of customer service that you give up. If the price of any equipment is considerably less than B&H, Amazon, Adorama, or J&R, stay away. The stuff you'll get in that package will not be what you think it is.
